Alghiffari is involved in many strategic cases and has a high level of complexity in Indonesia. Not only at the national level, but also involved in many international networks. He devoted 10 years as a Public Lawyer after graduating from the University of Indonesia. Alghiffari Aqsa is the Director of the Jakarta Legal Aid Institute for the 2015-2018 period. At LBH Jakarta, Alghiffari managed the Southeast Asian Public Interest Law Network (SEAPIL), became the board of the Southeast Asian Legal Aid Network (SEALAW), and became a fellow of the New York-based Global Network for Public Interest Law (PILNet) so that it had the opportunity to study at Columbia University and an internship at the New York Street Vendor Project/Urban Justice Center. In addition, Alghiffari is also a fellow of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) Victoria, Australia. In 2016 Alghiffari was appointed as an Overseas Counsel from a Victorian advocate organization (The Victorian Bar) after completing an Readers Course in Victoria, Australia. Alghiffari is also a lecturer in Jentera Law School who teaches Labor Law, History and Basic of Labor Law, Payment, and Freedom of Union.
